The UL290SS “Space Saver” is designed to handle up to a 10hp engine, making it suitable for taking you and up to three other passengers a bit further. This SS version of the UL290 has smaller diameter tubes, which reduce its footprint on deck and provide more interior space overall. As the name suggests, the Ultralites’ low weight offers a viable alternative for those who might have chosen a soft bottom tender before but now prefer the performance of a hard hull. Ultralite tenders are spacious and robust, yet light and easy to transport. These small boats can be launched and retrieved by a single person and can be easily transported on a roof rack. The UL hull is made from 2.5mm thick powder-coated marine grade aluminum, and the tubes are constructed from 1100 Decitex Valmex® PVC or Orca® Hypalon material, cut and assembled to exacting standards. The straightforward layout of the UL, with its uncluttered design and numerous standard accessories, makes the UL series one of the best values in inflatable boats.
