The New Harbor 28 offers modern technology and outboard power with legendary styling and design. Based on the Wasque 26 hull, the New Harbor 28 incorporates a hull extension for outboard power creating a true modern classic.
New Harbor Boats partnered with industry-leading experts when designing and constructing the New Harbor 28. She was designed by Naval architect Van Gorkom Yacht Design, and Front Street Shipyard built the yacht. Van Gorkom’s design yields a significant increase in the amount of usable space in the cockpit as well as a reduction in engine noise created by the old inboard engine. Front Street Shipyard’s expertise in boat building and repair is well-known; these partnerships have created a yacht of superior design, solid craftsmanship, and pedigree. These partnerships also allow for complete customization on future builds. The New Harbor 28 will be available for viewing throughout the summer at Safe Harbor Pilots Point Marina in Westbrook, CT, and at select boat shows and premiere membership events near you at marinas and yacht clubs.
