2019 HH 55 | Ticket to Ride



HH55 Ticket to Ride – Proven, Refined and Cruise-Ready. Now lying in Tauranga, New Zealand, Ticket to Ride is a 2019 HH55 performance cruising catamaran that has just completed an extensive professional refit, bringing her to an exceptional, better-than-new condition. Built in carbon fibre by Hudson Yacht Group and designed by Morrelli & Melvin, this award-winning model was named Cruising Catamaran of the Year in 2018.

Measuring 16.61m in length with an 8.10m beam, Ticket to Ride is engineered for high-performance bluewater sailing while remaining easily handled by a couple. She regularly cruises at over 15 knots and has achieved speeds exceeding 24 knots under sail. Curved daggerboards ensure excellent windward performance, while twin aft helms deliver responsive and intuitive control.

Designed for comfortable long-term living, Ticket to Ride is optimised for a couple, yet accommodates guests in style. The owner’s hull features an expanded ensuite with dual sinks, and the guest hull includes a single head, pantry, and laundry. Her cockpit galley with BBQ, upgraded upholstery, and high-end finishes offer relaxed, luxurious living.

Her 2024–2025 refit included new Future Fibre standing rigging, new copper coat bottom paint, new topside AwlGrip paint, updated running rigging, new port lights and hatches, engine and genset servicing, mast removal and rewire, and sail refurbishment by North Sails NZ. A new mainsail cover, electronic updates, and extensive cosmetic and technical upgrades complete the works.

Systems include a lithium battery bank, generator, solar array, watermaker, and a full B&G navigation suite. Her carbon rig, square-top mainsail, and premium sail inventory, combined with low-hour twin diesel engines, ensure reliable global cruising performance.

Ticket to Ride is not a charter vessel, but a privately owned, highly specified, and meticulously maintained catamaran – ready for immediate bluewater adventures. The yacht comes with an extensive spares inventory and water toys.
