A little "Carolina Blow Flare" helps keep and boat dry, even this 25-footer. Standard features on the boat include a portable head in a compartment in the port console, stainless steel thru-hull fittings, a freshwater shower, hydraulic trim tabs with indicator and retractor, hydraulic tilt steering, gunwale bolsters, a 165 quart ice fish box starboard and an 80 quart dry storage port. The Freedom 255 also has "Basic Flotation" which means if the boat is swamped some part of it will float. Under gunwales rod storage, a transom door and clever stern seat that is the easiest to operate I've ever seen to date. Toe rails run the length of the gunwales, a nice touch for fishing, and a hatch affords access to the batteries, battery switches, pumps, and sea cocks. The Freedom 255 is a very nice package for the man with a family who plans on covering the gamut, from fishing to water skiing to picnics on the bay with neighbors and friends. And with the right options, it is a very fishable craft, indeed!
