The Sea Ray SDX 240 Outboard is one of the most popular deck boats in its class, combining Sea Ray's premium build quality, spacious layout, and deep-V hull design with the simplicity and serviceability of an outboard-powered platform. The result is a versatile family boat that provides a smoother ride in choppy conditions than many traditional deck boats while offering abundant seating, storage, and entertaining space.
This 2017 SDX 240 OB is powered by a 250 HP Mercury Verado outboard and is being offered by its original owners. The original trailer, purchased new with the boat, is included in the sale.
The boat has been prepared for the 2026 season, including fresh bottom paint completed in June 2026. It is currently in the water and available for immediate showing and sea trial.
As expected for a well-enjoyed 10-year-old boat, there are some cosmetic items a future owner may wish to address, including areas of aging powder coating, a few tears in the canvas cover, worn swim platform traction pads, and other cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. The trailer also shows normal age-related wear but has been maintained and serviced.
This is not a showroom boat, but it is a solid, season-ready Sea Ray that has been enjoyed by the same family since new and is ready for its next owner.
