The 2007 Hunter 41 Deck Salon is a beautifully designed cruising yacht that combines sailing performance with exceptional onboard comfort. Known for its bright, spacious interior and easy single-or short-handed operation.
On deck, the Hunter's innovative B&R rig eliminates the need for a backstay, allowing a large, efficient mainsail while simplifying sail handling. The in-mast furling mainsail and roller furling headsail make sail deployment effortless, and all control lines are led aft to the cockpit for safe operation from the helm.
Wide side decks, stainless steel handrails, and a walk-through transom with swim platform provide outstanding safety and convenience.
Powered by a dependable 54 HP Yanmar diesel engine, the Hunter 41 DS delivers reliable performance under power while offering responsive sailing characteristics.
The raised deck salon design floods the interior with natural light through large panoramic windows, creating an open, airy atmosphere rarely found on a 41-foot sailboat. Rich cherry cabinetry, Corian countertops, and quality finishes throughout give the cabin the feel of a much larger yacht. The salon features comfortable seating, abundant storage, and excellent headroom (Per manufacturer, 6' 6" of headroom), making extended cruising both practical and enjoyable.
"MT. OLYMPUS" is an ideal family-designed cruising sloop. She is the three-stateroom version and can comfortably sleep 8 people when the dinette is configured accordingly. The forward owner's stateroom offers a port side Queen berth with generous storage and private access to the head, while the aft guest cabins offer comfortable sleeping space. A well-equipped galley includes a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, propane stove, and oven.
Initially splashed in the Great Lakes region in 2007, she finally made he way to the Southeastern U.S. in 2017 via land transport. Her mast was then re-stepped, and her standing rigging was inspected and re-tuned. In 2024, the standing rigging was once again inspected and re-tuned.
Receiving bottom paint in 2024, plus a recent engine service in 2025, there is nothing else needed except you, the kids, and your devoted pet.
This Hunter 41 Deck Salon's spacious interior and cockpit offer families a comfortable journey. She is also a veteran Bahamas/islands cruiser.
Note: There is no generator or air conditioning systems installed, however, this boat is wired and ducted for future installation.
