The Monterey 298SC Super Sport is the result of Monterey designers' vision to produce a Sport Cruiser of exceptional beauty, comfort and performance. They not only succeeded, but Monterey actually raised the bar by which future sport cruisers will be judged. The large cockpit is loaded with all the creature comforts needed for luxurious cruising and entertaining. Built on a Deep-V hull, her performance in this large cockpit design is safe and fun. With the contoured lounge seating opposite the helm, a forward-raked radar arch and her deep blue hull color, this is a sexy machine.
Down below, the 298 SC offers over 5 feet of headroom in the main cabin and incorporates a compact mid-cabin aft that stretches beneath the cockpit floor allowing accommodations for a couple of kids. Amenities include a full galley with cherrywood cabinets, a convertible dinette forward, and a fully enclosed head with shower. The extended swimming platform comes with a recessed boarding ladder, and a flip-up seat at the helm permits stand-up or leaning driving with great visibility.
