The Island Packet 370 combines its legendary construction with its exceptional yacht design to allow for safe long-distance voyages and for comfortable weekend cruises. For shorthanded voyages this wonderful yacht is equipped with a self-steering Hydrovane for course navigation or for use as a secondary rudder backup. Created by naval architect Bob Johnson and the Island Packet design team, this yacht is a favored choice among experienced cruisers. Featuring a traditional exterior with a cutter rig built with modern techniques. The result is a true blue-water vessel capable of ocean crossings as currently equipped but also with a draft shallow enough to reach those coveted shallow anchorages, all in an ICW friendly capable package. Owner has invested in many extensive upgrades and additions since last completed survey was done (10/23). A two-owner yacht first owned by a Yanmar engine representative. This owner stocked the boat with a thorough supply of backup boat and engine components. All of which are labeled and neatly organized.
