Accommodations

The Catalina 387 has what is regarded to be one of the best layouts for living aboard or cruising. Her cockpit is bigger than most 50 footers and her layout is unique in that the aft owners stateroom is full beam. Her single head has a full stall shower and her configuration of the salon can accommodate 3 different table options between the starboard settee and port side dinette. Plus the guest cabin forward is larger than most for her size.

The full‑beam master stateroom spans the aft section of the vessel, offering a generous berth, large hanging lockers, and private access to the head.

To starboard of the companionway, the spacious head features a separate enclosed shower, full vanity, and an electric Raritan commode.

Forward, the guest cabin includes a comfortable V‑berth with drawers and port and starboard lockers for ample storage.

The salon is bright and inviting, with an L‑shaped settee to port and a versatile table system. Owners can choose from three table configurations: a compact table for easy movement, or two larger tables stowed in the aft cabin when not in use. One of the larger tables lowers to convert the port settee into an additional berth. To starboard, two seats flank a dinette table that can also be lowered to create a traditional settee.

The fully equipped galley is positioned to port, while the navigation station sits opposite to starboard.

A large aft cabin is located beneath the cockpit, providing excellent space and comfort for extended cruising.

Disclosure

When Whiskey Seas was kept in Corpus Christie with a previous owner, she suffered damage during Hurricane Harvey. She was brought up to Kemah, Texas, and was completely assessed, repaired, and rebuilt to the highest of standards.
