Description
The 262 with her bold design and legendary Cobalt quality is in a class by herself. She offers something special for the family looking to get away for a day of cruising - a great layout with the type of space and features not usually found on many runabouts. The helm and navigator seats are wide and comfortable for all day cruising and feature flip up bolsters. The bow features wrap-around seating which can become a sun lounge when the filler cushion is in place. A removable table can be installed to convert the bow seating into a dining area for lunch and cocktails. When not in use, the table neatly stows into a slot under the starboard side chaise lounge. Port and starboard settees easily convert the walk-through transom to a full U-shaped wrap-around seating along with a huge stern full width sunpad and a massive swim platform for all your water activities. There are concealed self-draining storage compartments beneath the sunpad for all your gear and the compressor for inflating your water toys. She is also equipped with a SS bow scuff plate, stern shower, ski pylon, stern wet locker, tool kit, bimini top, bow & cockpit tonneau covers, pump-out porta-potti, docking lights, in-dash DF, Kenwood stereo and full instrumentation. She is powered by a 375 HP FWC Volvo Penta 8.1 Gi DP with only 440 hours.

I have always had a huge love and passion for the water. My boating experience started at the age of 13 when I learned to sail at my familyâs boating club in Cold Spring Harbor, New York. Living on the water was a tremendous advantage as I learned to sail on a Blue Jay and then, the next year, on a Laser. My love for sailing had me racing Laser sailboats for many years!
Â
I then moved on to powerboats and have had many boats, from small Whalers to large Sportfish Convertibles, including a 37-foot Egg Harbor and a 53-foot Viking. My wife Dorothy & I raised our two sons, Taylor and Christian, on our boats, and this increased our love for the boating lifestyle. Our enthusiasm for boating had us vacationing on many Eastern Seaboard locations, including Long Island Sound, Block Island Sound, and our favorite destination, Nantucket Island. Iâve always taken great pride in maintaining and skippering all my vessels.Â
Â
After a 35-year career in sales working for Herff Jones selling yearbooks to schools from Queens to Montauk, joining Brewer Yacht Sales is a natural progression in my lifelong sales career. My strong sales experience has gifted me to be a great listener, a trait which is of the utmost importance in buying and selling boats.Â
Â
I am dedicated to providing a seamless experience for both buyers and sellers, and I look forward to making your dreams come true!
