Overview

"Quest" has had exceptional owners that have taken great care of her. Her life started on the Chesapeake Bay and her previous owner moved her to Lake Champlain where she lived until the present owners bought her and trucked her back to the Chesapeake. she is hauled out every winter and anything needed is attended to. Low hours on her single Cummins 450HP dsl engine, Onan Generator, reverse cycle AC and HT, Bow thruster etc. Canvas cockpit Tanneau cover, canvas hardtop extension, Bridge deck enclosure helps extend her season.

Designer Mark Ellis, is best known as the designer of the Nonsuch line of boats, although he designed a wide range of sailboats and power boats. He started his training with Phil Rhodes, Ted Hood and C&C, which is about as good prep as one could get. He was the master of the sheer line as seen on the Legacy 40 with her proud bow and deep V she handles incredibly well in rough seas and looks good doing it.
