Introduction

The TEMPEST is a 2002 model BENETEAU 361 Oceanis with the optional (3) Stateroom layout. She was produced at the BENETEAU Factory in Marion, SC and the TEMPEST is hull #195.. First introduced in 1999, the BENETEAU 361 was manufactured through the 2004 model year. The impressive Oceanis 361 remained to be very popular over the years given the interior that features a dedicated stall shower, a generous amount of interior volume, very good storage as well as excellent ambient lighting & ventilation.

The TEMPEST has the BENETEAU Clipper Package that was offered by the Factory for the Oceanis Series models during the 2000's. It included such "extras" as a shore power cord, sail bags, RAYMARINE performance & navigation instrumentation, a VHF, an autopilot, stern rail seats, dock lines & fenders "and more". The TEMPEST also features a new Canvas Package for the Dodger, Bimini & Connector section, reverse-cycle heat & air conditioning, new batteries and a MAXPROP as well. The yacht is in very good condition and clearly has been well-maintained over the years too.

The TEMPEST is offered for brokerage sale as the Family's boating plans for this Summer and beyond have changed. She's presently at her Summer slip in Bridgeport CT. The TEMPEST presents herself well and, of course, the BENETEAU Oceanis 361 never fails to impress with her overall design excellence and the impressive interior accommodations & finish work.
