Full Details
Construction
Solid fiberglass below the waterline with Kevlar-reinforced stem and stern bottom areas and vinlyester resins used in the first two (2) laminates, all three keels. Above the waterline, a combination of Knyex, mat, and Airex are used for added resiliency as well as improved sound and thermal insulation.
The superstructure includes Knytex combined with end-grained balsa and/or Divinycell coring and surface mats (to reduce print-through). Cook gelcoat is used on the superstructure and hull. Teak aft and side decks. Boat deck and foredeck are finished with Awlgrip GripTex non-skid.
Saloon
The saloon is entered from the fully covered aft deck through double Freeman welded aluminum weather-tight doors w/privacy window louvers. To starboard is an L-shaped Sunbrella-covered settee with a hi-lo table. To port are 2 leather Lazy Boy swivel chairs with a cabinet between them. For entertainment, there is a 2024 55" Samsung Smart TV and a Bose sound system that is not hooked up. There are hidden back-plated D-rings and straps for securing salon furniture while underway in heavy seas. A phantom screen with custom woodwork is installed inside the aft doors to keep out any bugs while allowing the breeze to enter the saloon. A custom carpet and drapes along w/ Hunter Douglas louver blinds with cherry valances allow for ample light and add to the warm and inviting feeling.
Galley
The spacious galley on the Krogen 58' is more like a full-size professional chef's kitchen. In addition to top-of-the-line appliances, it offers excellent counter space and storage. A seashell tile wall backsplash behind the stove and Corian Sahara counters will inspire any chef to create a masterpiece. There is a separate entrance from the starboard side deck through a Freeman welded aluminum Dutch door w/ Textaline screen covering, making for effortless provisioning. The galley is open to the salon, allowing for uninterrupted conversation with the guests while preparing meals.

Master Stateroom
The roomy master stateroom is forward of the office and guest stateroom. It features a queen-sized walkaround berth with a protected mattress just right for a comfortable sleep. There are four large opening stainless steel ports and two overhead hatches to catch breezes while anchored out, creating a bright and airy feeling. There is an escape ladder installed in one of the overhead hatch openings for emergencies. There is also extensive storage in hanging lockers and drawers, as well as additional storage under the bed accessed with hydraulic cylinder assists.
Master Ensuite Head
The ensuite head is on the aft port side of the stateroom. It has a walk-in shower with an aluminum and glass bi-fold door, a Vacuflush head, and is completed with Corian countertops. A porthole in the shower and a second over the sink keep it bright and fresh.
Guest Stateroom
The guest stateroom is aft of the master on the starboard side. It features a queen-sized berth with airflow under the mattress to starboard. There are 7 drawers and 2 hanging lockers providing more than ample storage for any guest or family member. Shelves with fidds provide extra storage for the avid reader. Two large opening stainless steel portholes provide natural light and ventilation.
Guest Ensuite Head
The guest head is accessed through either a private door forward in the stateroom or a door leading into the hallway. There is a separate stall shower with an aluminum and glass bi-fold door, molded seat, and opening port. There is a VacuFlush head, mirrored medicine cabinet, and Corian-topped vanity. Opposite the guest head is the washer and dryer hidden by louvered doors.
Third Stateroom
The third stateroom is directly forward and down two steps from the galley. It features an L-shaped settee that pulls into a larger bed and a desk. There are drawers, cabinets, and bookshelves for stowing items. Two opening portholes allow for light and ventilation in this spacious area.
Companionway
In the companionway connecting all three staterooms, there is a custom carpet runner. This companionway also leads to inside access to the engine room through a double Freeman aluminum airtight door.
Pilothouse
The pilot house is the command center as well as a social gathering area. The large L-shaped custom fabric settee converts to a double berth, and there is a pedestal-mounted expandable table and a Stidd helm chair. There are Freeman welded aluminum Dutch doors port and starboard w/ Textaline screen covers for easy access to all decks. The pilothouse offers great ventilation via two stainless steel opening ports and two overhead hatches. Visibility is excellent for the captain and guests alike. Sunshades for the pilothouse windows keep the area cool and shaded on the warmest of days. Updated seating and window coverings.
