Overview
Sugar Magnolia is big enough to have that big boat feel and small enough to be handled by a couple easily. The mainsail is roller furling. The furling drum for the genoa is positioned above the deck so that the area around the windlass is uncluttered, the primary (self-tailing) winches are within arm's reach of the helmsman. The large cockpit has a steering wheel console, a table with fold-down leafs and lockers, mainsail track is forward on the coachroof, and the windlass is recessed in the large anchor well. She has the owner's interior with two large double cabins and L-shaped galley to starboard. She features an exceptionally comfortable saloon for 6 to 8 people with natural lighting and ventilation systems. The cabinetry is in cherry stained mahogany and the lockers are fitted with cane work doors. The head compartment has a marine toilet, shower, and hot and cold pressurized water.
