Boat History Report

Description

The 4100 Open is built on a beamy modified-V hull with a shallow keel and prop pockets to lower the shaft angles and reduce draft. Under the bridge deck is a full-size engine room with easy access thru cockpit. She has a spacious forward island-berth with plenty of storage and direct access to the head. Her galley has a full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, 2-burner cook-top, double SS sink and over and under storage. Her spacious salon has a settee/dinette area, entertainment center and the main electrical panel. Her upper cockpit has a double-wide helm seat, L-shaped port lounge and icemaker. Her lower cockpit has all the fishing features you would expect in a Tiara including a tuna door, washdown, lockable rod storage, rod holder table, aft-facing seat and outriggers among others. She has a 9 kW genset and is powered by T 435-HP Caterpillar 3208’s with 1180 hours. Check out the Full Specs and give us a call to see Break Away.

With a life-long passion for boats and the water much of what I've done in life has in one way or another involved boats. As a youngster, my family owned several boats which we kept in Branford, CT at the Indian Neck Yacht Club. After high school, I spent 15 years in the U.S. Coast Guard in which I spent 18 months in Alaska before returning to CT where I became certified as coxswain of Coast Guard search and rescue boats up to 44'.

After my Coast Guard service, I worked for 10 years in the wholesale marine equipment business where I supplied boatyards and marine dealers throughout Connecticut.

In 1983 I began selling new boats and have worked for two reputable Connecticut dealerships; 14 years at Milford Boat Works selling new Mako, Pursuit, Phoenix, Black Watch, Cape Dory, and North Coast powerboats plus O'Day, Cal, Pearson and Freedom sailboats. Then 14 years at Petzold's Marine selling Sabre, Back Cove, Silverton, Mainship, Luhrs, Egg Harbor and Ocean powerboats. I now have a long, successful history of selling quality new boats.

In 2013, after 30 years of selling new boats I was ready for a change. I decided to concentrate exclusively on the brokerage boat market. I joined Brewer Yacht Sales, one of the Northeast's largest yacht brokerage firms. I've now been at Brewer Yacht Sales for over 12 years. I work out of two of Safe Harbor's largest Connecticut marinas: Pilots Point Marina in Westbrook and Bruce & Johnsons Marina in Branford.

Buying or selling a yacht can be a comprehensive process and you should choose your broker carefully. I am proud of my reputation for honesty and my designation as a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB). With 40 years and over 1200 boat sales transactions behind me, the knowledge and experience I've gained are invaluable when it comes to protecting my client's interests. Whether you are considering buying or selling, power or sail, I can help. I look forward to working with you.
