Description
Introducing this Sabre 425—a performance-oriented yet comfortable cruiser with solid craftsmanship and a reputation for quality. Designed by Jim Taylor and the Sabre Design Team, this vessel combines speed and handling with a spacious, thoughtfully arranged interior, making it an ideal choice for couples or families seeking both adventure and relaxation on the water.
This particular Sabre 425 has been repowered and recently equipped with a new transmission, ensuring reliable, efficient performance for your coastal cruising or racing needs. The fin keel configuration enhances its upwind performance, allowing you to point higher into the wind than with a wing keel. The sails are in good condition, complementing the boat’s rigging, which includes inboard genoa tracks for close sheeting angles and superb windward ability.
Below deck, the Sabre 425 offers a generous 13-foot-plus beam carried well aft, creating a spacious main salon. With seating to port and starboard that converts into a double berth, there’s ample room to relax and dine. The well-equipped galley features a double stainless steel sink, a 4-burner propane stove with oven, and plenty of storage. A dedicated navigation station to starboard provides a functional space for charting your course and houses sophisticated electronics.
The forward cabin offers a comfortable berth, with storage lockers, hanging lockers, and a vanity with a sink. The aft stateroom includes a spacious double berth with additional storage, and the well-designed head features a separate shower stall for added convenience.
Key Features:
• Reliable Power: Repowered engine and new transmission ensure dependable cruising
• Fin Keel: Enhances upwind performance and handling, ideal for both cruising and racing
• Thoughtful Rigging: Inboard genoa tracks and double-spreader rig for precise sail control
• Spacious and Comfortable Interior: Expansive salon, well-equipped galley, and comfortable cabins
• Quality Construction: Known for rugged build quality and durability, combining classic craftsmanship with modern sailing technology
