This is a 1989 boat in very good condition. Sail inventory includes roller furling genoa and "in mast" furling main. Powered by a Westerbeke 30-B engine (27hp). Engine has +/- 1900 hours. Excellent cruiser/day-sailor/racer. Easily single handed.
Overview
In 1985, after nearly a decade of building its popular Sabre 34, Sabre Yachts significantly revamped the design. The resulting boat-beamier, roomier, faster, and more powerful than the original-is usually referred to as the Sabre 34 Mark II. Despite distinct differences between the two boats, the family resemblance is still obvious. The Mark II, like its predecessor, still hews the performance-cruising line that the South Casco, Maine builder established with the introduction of its very first boat, the Sabre 28, in 1971.
The Mark II was designed by company founder Roger Hewson.

In 1985, Roger Hewson reimagined the hugely successful Sabre 34—resulting in the beamier, faster, and more powerful Sabre 34 Mark II. While the family resemblance remained unmistakable, the Mk II represented a meaningful evolution in performance cruising.
This 1989 example is particularly special—it was Hewson’s own boat, and has had just two owners since new.
