Description
COME AWAY WITH ME is an excellent example of the famous Catalina 30 that has had the most successful long-term run of any cruising sloop in this size range. These original models came east starting in 1976, built in California and shipped all over the US and beyond. Subsequently, they have been produced at the new plant in Florida. Their numbers soared due to her design, quality, and value to over 6,000 units and remained virtually unchanged until the late 1980's with the production of the MK II model.
This 1980 example represents an exceptionally good value based on the updates and ongoing maintenance of her current owner. The seller will have the bottom painted and anode zinc replaced when the buyer has the boat hauled for survey or bottom inspection.
