Concorde a Gulf Star 37 designed by Vince Lazara this classic cruising Gulf Star has been well maintained by a renowned boatyard with upgrades and maintenance through the years of ownership. The standard Perkin Diesel has been replaced by a Beta Marine 43 model diesel, transmission & running gear including a new max prop with spurs. The Gulf Star 37 is known for its great cruising capabilities for the novice or the seasoned sailor. Family and friends will enjoy the spacious cockpit and interior with its large settee area below, navigation station to starboard, galley to port with all the amenities (double stainless steel sinks, large icebox and a Shipmate stove/oven. Forward a large V berth with plenty of storage and a separate door to the head. Top deck is nicely appointed with Barient winches, battened sails, jib furler and an Edson pedestal steering station with a new hybrid touch Raymarine GPS Radar unit. The hull is Awl Grip Navy Blue, the bottom has been well taken care of her owners are ready to move on.

With a life-long passion for boats and the water much of what I've done in life has in one way or another involved boats. As a youngster, my family owned several boats which we kept in Branford, CT at the Indian Neck Yacht Club. After high school, I spent 15 years in the U.S. Coast Guard in which I spent 18 months in Alaska before returning to CT where I became certified as coxswain of Coast Guard search and rescue boats up to 44'.Â
After my Coast Guard service, I worked for 10 years in the wholesale marine equipment business where I supplied boatyards and marine dealers throughout Connecticut.Â
In 1983 I began selling new boats and have worked for two reputable Connecticut dealerships; 14 years at Milford Boat Works selling new Mako, Pursuit, Phoenix, Black Watch, Cape Dory, and North Coast powerboats plus O'Day, Cal, Pearson and Freedom sailboats. Then 14 years at Petzold's Marine selling Sabre, Back Cove, Silverton, Mainship, Luhrs, Egg Harbor and Ocean powerboats. I now have a long, successful history of selling quality new boats.Â
In 2013, after 30 years of selling new boats I was ready for a change. I decided to concentrate exclusively on the brokerage boat market. I joined Brewer Yacht Sales, one of the Northeast's largest yacht brokerage firms. I've now been at Brewer Yacht Sales for over 12 years. I work out of two of Safe Harbor's largest Connecticut marinas: Pilots Point Marina in Westbrook and Bruce & Johnsons Marina in Branford.Â
