Deck
To give a better idea of just how work is involved with a "deck refurbishment", the Owner provided this detail as follows below.
"The first order of business was to remove all of the blocks, fittings and miscellaneous deck fixtures that been installed over the years by previous owners. Working with a clear deck and cabin top, all surfaces were sanded (120 grit) by hand until they were smooth and uniform. The next step was to apply a substrate sealer known as Hullgard Extra/545 Primer. All holes and cracks were filled with
WEST Epoxy Fairing Compound and hand sanded once again to gain a uniformly smooth surface. Several coats of an Epoxy surface/
Ultra Build Primer was applied to reduce sag resistance and to enhance film build capability; the final coat of primer was sanded smooth. Non-skid was incorporated to selected surface areas and masked off before applying the finish primer. Finally, an AWLGRIP Polyester Urethane Topcoat was sprayed on all surfaces. The color selected was SNOW WHITE."
