This 2018 Aquila 44 Catamaran, named "Mimi's Oasis", has NEVER been in charter service, which is a key advantage for discerning buyers. It features a spacious interior typically found in larger yachts, with a full-beam primary stateroom and two guest cabins, each equipped with private heads and enclosed showers.
This Catamaran includes a second helm station on the flybridge, providing better visibility for docking, along with approximately $60,000 in upgrades and social seating areas. Storage is abundant throughout the vessel, with large lockers ideal for lines and luggage. The boat is powered by engines in each hull for easy maneuverability, and it also comes with a center console tender and a watermaker for extended trips. "Mimi’s Oasis" offers a range of features and options, making it an exceptional choice for serious cruising.
The spacious salon and galley area includes modern appliances, a high-low table with very comfortable U-shaped seating for six adults. The table can be lowered and will then accommodate a cushion (included) that can then sleep an additional two people.
Overall, "Mimi's Oasis" is highly equipped for serious cruising and ready for viewing.

This 2018 Aquila 44, Mimi’s Oasis, is very likely the best pre-owned Aquila 44 on the market whether 2018, 2019 or even later. Mimi’s Oasis has NEVER been in charter. This is incredibly important – think about it.
Catamarans are inherently stable because of the two-hull design, and or that same to hull design with engines far apart makes maneuvering very easy in tight spaces.
If you have yourself chartered a power cat in the BVI or Bahamas, as many catamaran enthusiasts have you might not at first appreciate the second, interior full helm station on Mimi’s Oasis. Why? Because the weather is almost always moderate in the BVI or Bahamas. Neither too hot, nor too cold.
But guess what, yachtsman? The weather in the southern states can be hot and humid in the summer and quite cold in the winter, and you really will find plenty of occasions where you will be glad that you can simply pilot your yacht from inside. Cool in the hot and humid, and warm in the cool or cold.
Mimi’s Oasis has the interior volume of a monohull of 55 or even 60 or more feet, and almost endless storage space. There are three luxurious staterooms. One guest stateroom in each hull. Friends and family will think you gave them the best accommodation. But you didn’t. The master stateroom sits atop and between the two hulls. See it to believe it. To either side of the king bed are nightstands, and down just three steps to starboard is a desk, hanging closet, vanity and a Splendide combination washer/dryer. People trying a Splendide washer/dryer for the first time don’t believe it is going to work, but it does. Put your dirty laundry in, start It, and come back from the beach or wherever in about two and a half or three hours and your stuff will be dry and ready to wear. On the port side, again down three steps is more closet space and the master head. The underbed storage in the master is a two person job, one to lift and one to grab stuff (or a tough one person job), but great for those things you might want to put away for seasonal storage, or items for which you will not need frequent access.
All three staterooms have ensuite heads with enclosed showers and lots of storage.
The salon has comfortable seating for six adults and the table can be lowered and will accommodate an included cushion and will sleep an additional two adults. Same thing with the table on the flybridge. There is a water maker on Mimi’s Oasis (although even charted 44’s usually have those).
Standard fuel tankage on the Aquila 44 is 295 gallons. Mimi’s Oasis has 424 gallons, great for expended trips. Mimi’s Oasis also includes radar and AIS (Automated Identification System) as well as EPIRB, auto-pilot, upgraded chart plotters, Clean-a-Hull ultrasonic hull cleaning system, upgraded chart plotters, auto-pilot (chartered 44’s have NONE of these because the charter people don’t expect most of their clients to have ever used these), and, oh yes, did we mention cool air in the summer and warm air in cooler weather, new bottom paint (2025), freshly tuned props (2025), two spare props, and more.
Mimi’s Oasis has STARLINK installed. Just get a service plan and you can communicate from anywhere in the world. Otherwise, of course, you can still communicate with your phone anywhere you can get a cell signal.
The absolute, drop-dead two most impressive storage spaces are in the bows of the two hulls. Perfect for storing large items like fenders, spare lines, guest luggage (just where do you put that on most boats), or maybe unruly children (OK, maybe not).
Mimi’s Oasis is getting her thousand-hour service in the first couple of weeks of October, 2025, another thing appreciated by discerning yachtsman. This can provide you with confidence and won’t need to be done for another several years.
There is a Zar Mini 13 aluminum dinghy (2018) with a 25 horsepower outboard (2022). You will want that because you are going to go to great places, but will not always be able to tie up to a dock and might anchor out. Oh, yeah, you can control the anchors from either helm station.
