Description

The Jeanneau 39i boasts a generous beam carried well aft, providing greater interior volume than expected in a 39-footer. The helm is light and responsive, making it a breeze to operate under sail or power. Featuring an in-mast furling main sail, taking the sail out is easy and efficient. Halyards, reefing and furling lines, and the mainsheet are conveniently led aft to winches on either side of the companionway, with primary winches on the coamings just forward of the twin wheels.

The expansive, triangular cockpit is perfect for lounging and features a centerline table with ample room for six to dine alfresco. A hot-and-cold-water transom shower adds convenience, especially when using the broad swim platform.

Inside, the roomy forward cabin offers a large V-berth and ample storage space in hanging lockers and on shelves, enhanced by the thoughtful design that avoids incorporating a second head. The saloon is large, airy, and comfortable, with a wraparound dinette to starboard and an L-shaped galley providing seating for five or six.

Additional notable features include a 2020 dinghy with a 5Hp Honda outboard, a windlass for easy anchoring, and a Balmar serpentine belt. The sails, including the jib and main, were replaced in 2022. The exhaust elbow was replaced in 2020, and the coolant was changed in 2023.

Sail away in the Jeanneau 39i, a vessel that combines elegant design, exceptional comfort, and practical features for the ultimate family cruising experience. Don't miss the opportunity to own this well-appointed sailboat, ready for your next adventure.

With a life-long passion for boats and the water much of what I've done in life has in one way or another involved boats. As a youngster, my family owned several boats which we kept in Branford, CT at the Indian Neck Yacht Club. After high school, I spent 15 years in the U.S. Coast Guard in which I spent 18 months in Alaska before returning to CT where I became certified as coxswain of Coast Guard search and rescue boats up to 44'.

After my Coast Guard service, I worked for 10 years in the wholesale marine equipment business where I supplied boatyards and marine dealers throughout Connecticut.

In 1983 I began selling new boats and have worked for two reputable Connecticut dealerships; 14 years at Milford Boat Works selling new Mako, Pursuit, Phoenix, Black Watch, Cape Dory, and North Coast powerboats plus O'Day, Cal, Pearson and Freedom sailboats. Then 14 years at Petzold's Marine selling Sabre, Back Cove, Silverton, Mainship, Luhrs, Egg Harbor and Ocean powerboats. I now have a long, successful history of selling quality new boats.

In 2013, after 30 years of selling new boats I was ready for a change. I decided to concentrate exclusively on the brokerage boat market. I joined Brewer Yacht Sales, one of the Northeast's largest yacht brokerage firms. I've now been at Brewer Yacht Sales for over 12 years. I work out of two of Safe Harbor's largest Connecticut marinas: Pilots Point Marina in Westbrook and Bruce & Johnsons Marina in Branford.

Buying or selling a yacht can be a comprehensive process and you should choose your broker carefully. I am proud of my reputation for honesty and my designation as a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB). With 40 years and over 1200 boat sales transactions behind me, the knowledge and experience I've gained are invaluable when it comes to protecting my client's interests. Whether you are considering buying or selling, power or sail, I can help. I look forward to working with you.
