From the Listing Broker:
This Hunter 33 (2004) was originally sold by the former Hunter dealer in the Dallas area and initially placed at Lake Lewisville. The original buyer later sold the boat, and it was relocated to Lake Ray Hubbard, where it has remained for approximately 10 years.
The vessel was docked at Rush Creek Sailing Club and used as a weekend escape by its owners. It was then sold to the current owner, an enthusiastic sailor who now needs to sell the boat due to a job relocation to the northern United States.
This boat has always been a freshwater vessel, showing little use or wear. It is equipped with a reliable 3-cylinder Yanmar engine one of the best engines on the market with fewer than 250 original hours.
Notable Features of the Hunter 33 (2004):
• Spacious interior, including the saloon, galley, head, and cabins—larger than many similar vessels from brands like Beneteau, Jeanneau, or Catalina.
• Superior stability: Unlike other vessels in its class, this Hunter 33 doesn’t heel as much, making it an excellent choice for sailors seeking a balanced and relaxed ride.
This vessel offers a unique combination of comfort, performance, and reliability, perfect for those looking for an enjoyable sailing experience.
Manufacturer Provided Description:
The underbody of the Hunter 33 mirrors Henderson’s other Hunter designs in the recent 41 and 44-foot models. Bringing the beam well aft to provide interior space, but not sacrificing performance has worked extremely well in his innovative designs. The deck is wide and workable without intrusions. The cockpit can hold a crowd under sail or at the dock, but is also set up to sail easily single handedly. Accommodations include a large, aft master stateroom with plenty of storage and headroom. The galley is complete with Corian counters, a two-burner range, icebox and a deep, single basin stainless steel sink. Entertaining or fortifying the crew is easy in a massive salon and guests will appreciate the privacy of the forward v-berth stateroom.
