1998 Cabo Rico 40' _{(12.19 m)} NE400

"Bossa Nova" is a rare example of a Cabo Rico, Northeast 400 Pilot House model. She offers all the benefits of a secure and safe pilot house motor sailer with excellent design features and updated sail inventory and equipment. With a draft of only 4'10" she is very suitable for cruising the Bahamas and Florida waters. This vessel features include Vetus Bow Thruster, In Mast Furling Main, Heavy Bow Pulpit with extensive ground tackle and a very nicely appointed Pilot House with both inside and outside steering stations.

Accommodations

Cabo Rico NE 400 is the quintessential perfect motor sailor! Port and starboard boarding gates midship or access from the stern via a walk-through door off the swim platform into the spacious and well laid out cockpit. Dual opposing sliding doors lead into the main salon which is bright and airy featuring large windows and visibility is fantastic. Port and starboard settees with plenty of storage and a removable folding teak table along with the interior helm station on starboard. Full instrumentation including VHF Radio and Multifunction Chart Plotter, Wind, Depth and Auto Pilot. Down 2 steps on port you will find the galley which is nicely laid out with ample storage, refrigeration and separate freezer along with three burner stove top and oven/broiler. To starboard is one of the nicest cabins featuring a sofa and desk area which can be used as a guest cabin or home office. To port is the single head with ensuite shower that has direct access to the forward master cabin and also serves as a day head. All the way forward is the master cabin with island queen berth, book shelves, and storage lockers. The berth lifts up on hydraulic lifters which reveals a large storage area you could fill with all sorts of gear! Ventilation throughout is provided by deck hatches and opening ports.
