Merlin was outfitted extensively for long-term bluewater cruising before her departure from Seattle in 2023. In the spring of 2023, Merlin made her major passage from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to Nuku Hiva, French Polynesia—covering 3,000 nautical miles in just 19 days.
Though deeply committed to the cruising lifestyle, Jason, Deardra, and their two kids aren’t selling their home—they want to remain connected to friends and family as they continue to explore the world.
