Description
- "No Schedule" is a lovely vessel. Her owners have enjoyed her but no longer have the time to travel to Maryland so have offered her for sale. They have removed all her teak decking and re-nonskidded her decks. Owner had a surveyor look at her decks and they are dry as a bone and solid. It is believed that her decks are solid thick fiberglass. She will make someone a wonderful cruiser with her enclosed pilothouse, two staterooms with 2 heads, large galley down with abundant storage opposite to starboard. Her master stateroom with centerline berth and port and stb seats, head with separate shower stall, plenty of closets and cabinets plus and additional access to the engine compartment would make anyone happy to live-aboard.

Accommodations
- The Nauticat 43 has a wonderful spacious interior and an interior helm station in the salon, great for inclement weather conditions. She is both warm and bright below deck with lovely teak cabinetry and large pilothouse windows. Starting forward and working our way aft will describe how she is laid out below;
- The guest stateroom is forward and has a double V-berth as well as an additional single skipper berth. There is also a quest head with shower aft with hanging lockers opposite to Starboard.
- Moving aft from the Guest cabin one enters the large Sea Galley to port. Opposite to Starboard is additional counter and storage space for long term cruising.
- Up a couple of steps and one enters her Main Salon/Pilot house with lower helm station. She has a large, raised, U-shaped dinette to port and table. The table drops to convert the dinette to a large double berth. To Starboard is the helm and nav station. Excellent 360 degree views from all her large windows. Beige colored Ultra-leather fabric for the dinette, teak and holly sole and curtains for privacy when needed. She has a very inviting interior. Aft centerline steps lead to her cockpit and second helm station. Aft to starboard is the walk way to the Aft Master Cabin. The floor in the salon all opens up for easy access to the engine compartment.
- As one enters the aft cabin you are impressed with the size and comfort. She has a centerline double berth and one step up raised seats on either side for relaxing or easier access to the berth. Here again there are abundant windows all around, and hatch above for excellent light and ventilation. Teak cabinetry throughout and teak and holly sole. To port is a dressing table and plenty of drawer storage. Hanging locker on forward bulkhead that also serves as an additional access door to the engine compartment. To starboard is the master head with separate show stall.
Galley
She is equipped with a U-shaped Sea Galley to port and forward of the main salon. There is plenty of counter and cabinet space for food prep or storage. Lovely glass doors on the upper cabinets on the forward bulkhead add a touch of class and the overhead hatch gives additional light. Opposite the galley on starboard there is a large counter that provides a work area for cooking or projects.
- Double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressure fresh water. There is salt water access and an auxiliary freshwater foot pump.

From the manufacturer
- "The hull is made of fiberglass with a thickness of at least 5cm without the use of sandwich technologies. The exclusive technology of the hull and superstructure is borrowed from the aviation industry. The hull is equipped with a skeg for the safety of the rudder. The rudder is filled with a homogeneous mixture of fiberglass and polyester for reliability."
- "She has a hydraulic steering system. Check valves are modified, which allows the halmsman to feel the pressure on the steering wheel when moving."
- "Rigging design with high safety factor. The mast passes through the deck, which increases the strength of the rigging. The equipment on deck is selected taking into account large workloads."
From the seller
The seller has removed all the teak decking, filled the holes from all the screws, and added a non-skid surface to her deck. He also hired a surveyor to inspect the deck and she was found to be completely dry and sounded well. The assumption is her deck is solid fiberglass and super thick.

The water has always been a part of my life since learning to sail aboard a Sailfish while vacationing in Chatham, Massachusetts. At twelve, I graduated to Penguins and 420âs at the Tred Avon Yacht Club in Oxford, Maryland. My parents always belonged to the Corinthian Yacht Club in Philadelphia and I often accompanied them on cruises aboard a Hinckley Bermuda 40 that we cruised in the Chesapeake.
Understanding banking after working 12 years for Loyola Savings and Loan of Maryland, I helped navigate the purchase of a 32â Pearson Vanguard for a friend and taught him to sail. Loving the idea of sharing my passion for boating, I joined Oxford Boatyard Yacht Sales (in what is now Safe Harbor Oxford Boatyard and Marina) in 1990 and worked as a broker and office manager for 25 years.Â
In 1993, Oxford Boatyard Yacht Sales became a dealer for Sabre and Back Cove Motor Yachts and I acquired an understanding and respect for powerboats. I worked closely with the boatyard commissioning new vessels and working as a liaison between new owners and the marina. I have an intimate understanding of the boat buying process - how to guide new owners through surveys, sea trials, registration, and documentation.Â
I love all boats and each one has its own quality. Though I would consider myself a traditionalist in boat design, I like what the new designs offer in comfort and ability.Â
Â
My husband (of 30 years) and I live in Easton, Maryland. My husband is the rigging supervisor at Safe Harbor Oxford Boatyard and our daughter, having graduated from Washington College in 2020, is now teaching English as well as coaching the sailing team at the Gunston School in Centreville, Md. She has recently come on board as the Summer Sailing Director with the Tred Avon Yacht Club.
Â
I am starting my 7th year as a broker with Brewer Yacht Sales and in addition to my office at Safe Harbor Zahniserâs in Solomonâs, Maryland I now have an office at Safe Harbor Oxford. This enables me to cover the territory from the Eastern Shore to Solomonâs Island and everything in between.Â
Â
I look forward to speaking with you and sharing my passion for boats. Let me help you find the perfect yacht or support and guide you in the sale of your existing vessel!
