LITTLE STAR is a 1968 Hinckley Pilot 35 yawl and one of only 25 Pilot Yawls built in Maine. She has been lovingly restored and maintained including repowered in 2014 with a new Yanmar 39 Hp diesel. LITTLE STAR also offers a DOYLE Stackpack Main and Mizzen, roller furling jib, RAYMARINE Hybridtouch Chartplotter, Autopilot, radar, instruments and LEWMAR electric winch for the main halyard.  Designed by Sparkman & Stephens Hull #1211, LITTLE STAR was built in 1968 by The Hinckley Company in Southwest Harbor, Maine. The hull is hand-laid solid fiberglass that is no less than 3/8" thick throughout, with almost 1" thickness at the keel, with a fiberglass deck assembly. The deck is bedded onto a 6" hull flange and topped by the toerail bolted through both flange and deck. Varnished teak exterior trim consists of toerails, coaming, companionway, helm area and handrails. With her graceful sheer, tapering bow and stern, and low cabin sides, she's a beauty of superb proportions. If you have ever dreamed of owning a traditional Hinckley sailboat with classic, head-turning good looks and performance, LITTLE STAR should be on your short list to see now! She is located in Branford, CT and can be seen by appointment.
