Overview

Recent Upgrades

-Fully battened mainsail with Sailbag and Mack Pack and Lazy Jack system. The sail bag was repaired in 2020.

-Standard Catalina 36 Headsail was restitched in July 2022.

-New headsail furler (Hood) installed in 2020. Gennaker sail - never used by this owner.

-New headsail halyard installed Feb 2020. New Traveler and Vang lines in 2022.

-Bottom paint August 2022. 2 coats Black Trinidad Pro

-New VHF radio, works well

Accommodations

Vela has a comfortable V-Berth with lots of storage and a hanging locker. In the Salon there is a U-shaped dinette that converts into a double berth and a unique second dinette to starboard that also turns into a single berth.

The salon area is spacious and airy with a 32" TV for entertainment. Her teak interior gives a warm and inviting feeling, and she has a teak/holly sole. She has plenty of ports that provide natural light in the cabin and the opening hatches

bring in the fresh air.

The area aft of the salon is to starboard a navigation station equipped with a chart table and captain's chair. The Master panel for 110V and 12V is adjacent to the Nav station.

The galley offers a stainless steel double sink, double-burner alcohol stove top, and refrigerator. Above the stovetop is a microwave. New galley faucets were installed in 2020.

Aft is a large cabin area with a privacy door.
