From 2011-2015 I served in the US Navy onboard the USS Lake Erie, CG70, as a Damage Controlman. Our Ship served as the Ballistic Missile Defense Ship of Pearl Harbor, protecting the East and Western Pacific from foreign missile attacks. After completion of our deployment to Korea (among other places) in 2014, we changed homeports to San Diego, where our ship underwent extensive repairs. After spending nearly a decade traveling the world and appreciating new places I had finally decided to settle down in the beautiful state of Rhode Island.
Once I had fulfilled my service enlistment, I began school at New England Institute of Technology earning an associate degree in marine technology as well as a bachelor’s degree in business management. Throughout college and thereafter I worked for marinas- launching, hauling, and repairing boats, along with developing long-lasting relationships with our customers.
Over the last 4 years, I have personally owned two boats, one 1971 Egg Harbor Sport Fish 33’ that I miss dearly and my current project, a 1968 Tripp Angler 22’.
