Introduction
The IBEX is a 2001 model X-YACHTS 412 Cruiser-Racer. She's a "Mark III" Edition that was first introduced in 2000 and features the Classic (2) Cabin interior layout with (2) Heads. Designed by Neils Jeppensen and produced in Denmark, this X-412 was produced from 1990 through 2003; the IBEX is hull #175 of this very successful series out of a total of 252 examples built. The X-YACHT's are renowned for being exceptionally well-built & designed for performance sailing in an offshore environments where structural integrity .. as well as performance .. are key qualities.
This Owner purchased the IBEX in 2002 as a "nearly new boat". Over the past 21 years, she has benefited from the best of care as provided. The IBEX features a recent Dark Blue AWLGRIP finish and her teak decks are in well-above average .. if not superior .. condition. She's equipped for both Club Racing as well as cruising. The very low engine hours (under 500!) indicate a life of just limited usage over the years for light cruising and day-sailing by the IBEX's second Owner.
The IBEX is located at her Summer Slip in New Rochelle, NY. Given her exceptional condition and model features, this very nice X-412 certainly deserves a close look by qualified clients who can appreciate her overall superior upkeep, the X-412 design features. her excellent sailing performance and the reputation earned over the years for product quality by X-YACHTS and the X-412 in particular.
