Just reduced $5,000.00 and looking for offers. Great Boat at a Great Price!

"Unruly Seahorse" is a lovely example of the Double Stateroom 38 that was the precursor to the Island Packet 40. She has been well maintained and lightly used the last few years. She has lived in the Chesapeake Bay and with the present owners for the last 15 years. The Island Packet is known for their cruising ability from her spacious interior with tons of storage space to her sea kindly abilities in heavy air. She is well equipped with Single Side Band, Generator, Reverse cycle air and heat, full cockpit enclosure and much more. If you are looking to sail to the islands or just cruise in comfort along the east coast this is the perfect vessel. Her two staterooms plus the convertable dinette are great for a family and with two private heads two couples can enjoy her as well with totally privacy. She is awaiting her next adventure.

The Island Packet 38 exemplifies the best in cruising accommodations and "Unruly Seahorse" has all that and more. She is well equipped, her cushions are like new, and every corner and locker is clean and neat.

Starting forward is the ensuite head for the master cabin followed by a spacious owners suite with Pullman style berth to starboard and bank of drawers and hanging locker to port.

Heading aft from the Master cabin is the main salon with facing settee's (starboard converts to a double berth) and the signature Island Packet bulkhead mounted table with storage behind is on the forward bulkhead. She has an aft facing Navigation station which lends to great communication between the station and the helm. There is not only shelving behind both settees but an incredible amount of storage under. To starboard of the companionway is an excellent U-shaped sea galley and to port is the second private stateroom with a huge double berth, plenty of room for changing clothes and wonderful storage and hanging lockers. Just forward of the aft cabin and aft of the port settee is the aft head with access from the salon and the aft cabin

She has a wonderful bright yet warm and inviting interior with lovely teak joinery and teak and holly sole. There is excellent ventilation with multiple hatches and all stainless steel opening ports. Her cushions are a neutral light color that were replaced in 2002 and since lightly used.

The galley is located to starboard of the companionway and is set up as an excellent sea galley for passage making. Here too one will find a tremendous amount of storage space for dishes and food as well as plenty of counter space for food preparation.
