Overview

"Hope" is a must see GB 42 if you are looking for a clean and well maintained turn key cruiser.
Reliable John Deere 135 HP smokeless engines (5500 Hrs), 8 Onan Generator (1500 Hrs), Lewmar Bow Thruster, Barrier Coated 2015, all thru hulls replaced, no leaks in windows or nice condition teak decks, excellent electronics, wonderful cabinetry and parquet floors, isotherm dual voltage refrigeration and St Croix Davits with a new 10' AB dinghy and 15 hp Yamaha.  She is complete with manuals and digital wiring diagrams.  Brightwork just done. OVERVIEW:
She sleeps 4 owners and guests in 2 staterooms, plus 2 dinette berths for a total of 6 berths. The owner and guest staterooms each have a head and shower (including a tub in the master head).  Dual system heat and air conditioning and the 8 KW generator powers all systems offshore. She can be operated from the bridge or wheelhouse; both with complete electronics package.

VESSEL WALKTHROUGH:
The aft cabin has port and starboard twins with teak dresser between. Head to starboard with tub and shower. The helm is to starboard, there are doors port and starboard, the galley is to port and the dinning and seating tostarboard aft. The saloon features parquet floors, beautiful teak cabinetry, and an elegant hi/low dining table that seats 8. Forward and down is a completely private guest cabin with ample storage, head and shower.

Bridge Canvas and Covers keep her seating clean, mold free and very comfortable. Her cabins are a true "9" folks. The parquet floors are in the best condition we have seen. Air conditioning is in perfect running order. Her galley sports a large SS Sink, SS 4 Burner Stove with Oven, Dual Voltage Fridge, Second 110 Fridge and New Ice maker in the Bar Caddie. The 8 KW Onan Generator has only 1500 Hours and has the Sound Shield.

All service records and up to date oil analyses are available.


The cabin windows and joinery show no evidence of leaks. One fuel tank was replaced and the second shows to be in excellent condition. Her 5500 low hour AM Marine John Deere Twin Diesels fire right up, don't smoke and she sips fuel with a total 5 gallons per hour at 1400 rpms cruising at 8-9 knots. Her bottom was done three years ago with no blisters, all thru hulls were replaced in the past 4 years
