Overview
The MAGGIE'S DRAWERS is a 2012 model BENETEAU Oceanis 41 that has the (3) Stateroom (1) Head layout, the optional "Easy Sail" Roller-Furling mast and the reduced-draft of 5'7" feature. This example was built at the BENETEAU Factory in Marion, SC. First introduced in 2011, the Oceanis 41 proved to be very successful model with her sophisticated hull design with a innovative Hard Chine for room & stability, overall ease-of-handling and the superb accommodations and enormous cockpit as provided.
The MAGGIE'S DRAWERS offers a lightly-used example of one of the more popular 41' LOA range cruising sailboats ever designed & produced. This Oceanis 41 is correctly set up "for the mission" with her (3) Stateroom layout, an efficient (2) wheel Cockpit configuration and a well-engineered drop-down Transom swim platform design. Equipped with a Full Enclosure dodger & Bimini & connector, MAXPOWER bow thruster, roller-furling mainsail, QUICK electric anchor windlass, SIMRAD electronics, CRUISAIR reverse-cycle heat & air conditioning, a ZODIAC tender & a custom winter cover, it's clear that no expense or effort was spared to make one of the best "the best".
The MAGGIE'S DRAWERS is being offered for brokerage sale as her Owners' Family sailing plans have changed. She's stored "on the hard", rig in and is easy to view and inspect. Given the excellent overall condition & equipage, light use to date and with "motivated" Sellers, appointments for viewings are certainly encouraged.

Hull
The Oceanis 41 was one of the first BENETEAU models to offer the advanced "Hard Chine" hull form for a modern production sailing yacht. The feature provides an improved hull form stability that results in a comfortable 12-degree sailing angle of heel vis the more traditional 16-18 degrees or so. The interior volume is also enhanced and the overall sea-keeping ability is improved as well.

Rig, Rigging, Winches & Sails
Rig & Rigging
This BENETEAU Oceanis 41 is provided with the Factory Optional Roller-Furling Mast. This is a high-aspect 15/16th Fractional Rig and it is deck-stepped and has swept-back double-spreaders. The upper & lower shrouds go to a single chainplate, port & strboard. There is a double backstay. The halyards are internal and all lines are lead aft.
By definition, the advanced Oceanis 41 sail plan does qualify to be called a "cutter rig" as the mast is stepped some 47% aft of the bow stem fitting. This provides for the use of a larger headsail with a modest overlap for efficient and easily-managed "power up" (or "down") sailing and also with better light-air performance.
